Four reports are prepared in order to reflect academic progress and assessment.

  • The first report is issued at half term in term 1 and provides an indication of how each boy has settled into the academic year. In addition, it provides some information on his academic progress. There are no marks, averages or competency ratings on this report. A Summative and skills report is issued at the end of term one and two and a summative report is issued at the end of term three.
  • A ‘Summative Report’ reflects the learner’s academic progress in the form of marks and symbols.
  • A ‘Skills Report’ provides detailed information on the progress being made in each individual subject. This is achieved by listing skills and competencies and then by rating these on a scale. A 1-4 scale is used in grades 7 and a 7 point scale is used in Grade 7,
