Boys selected for Junior National Training Squad

Five of our Rowing boys received invites from the Junior International Commission to join the Junior National Training Squad

At St Benedict's we pride ourselves in an exceptional Rowing programme which has positioned us as the most "accoladed" school. It has also produced boys whose skills allowed them to represent South African on the international stage. The likes of Ramon di Clemente (Class of 1993), Vincent Breet (Class of 2011), Garth Holden (Class of 2015) and Dylan Trollope (Class of 2015) among many others.

On the 25th January 2021, five of our Rowing boys received invites from the Junior International Commission to join the Junior National Training Squad!
The boys selected are:

  • Christopher Da Costa
  • Turidu Di Bella
  • Dilano Sa'
  • Aaron Shaw
  • Christopher Viljoen

We are so proud of our boys! Although inclusion in the National Training Squad does not guarantee inclusion in the final team, we are excited that they are part of the process to select a Junior National Squad. We are confident that they will perform exceptionally well. GO BENNIES!

Bennies boys today. Exceptional sportsmen tomorrow.
