About St Benedict’s:
St Benedict’s is an Independent Catholic School, which seeks to provide a holistic education for boys through full participation in spiritual, academic, sporting, creative and cultural activities. The Board of Governors invites applications for the following post in the College.
Requirements and experience:
- Possess a teaching degree with remedial or inclusive education
- Have proven experience working in a diverse learning environment
- Have experience in developing and implementing individual support plans
- Provide numeracy and literacy support
- Participate as a member on the school-based support/wellness team
- Be flexible in your approach to working with individual pupil needs
- Offer guidance to teachers, facilitators and parents
- Provide both individual and group intervention support
- Offer homework, classwork and study skills support
- Provide assistance with developing executive functioning skills
- The candidate must be eager and willing to embrace professional development
- Have excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Must be SACE Registered
- Be willing to participate in the Catholic Ethos of the School
