About St Benedict’s:
St Benedict’s is an Independent Catholic School, which seeks to provide a holistic education for boys through full participation in spiritual, academic, sporting, creative and cultural activities. The Board of Governors invites applications for the following posts in the Preparatory School.
Requirements:
- Possess a tertiary qualification in Sports Management and/or related field
- Have at least 5 years’ coaching experience and able to contribute to a variety of sporting codes
- Provincial or national representation as a Water Polo player would be advantageous
- Water Polo refereeing course and knowledge of Water Polo rules
- The coach will be working closely with the Head of Water Polo
- Coordinating, overseeing and attending Water Polo fixtures
- Be willing to arrange tours and tour with teams
- Be an enthusiastic contributor to sports education, tours and the broader school programme
- Offer a range of abilities to the extra-mural and integrated day programmes
- Have good people skills and be able to work positively with boys and parents around sports issues
- Have excellent communication, planning, administrative and organisational skills
- Be willing to participate in the Catholic Ethos of the School
