Ways of giving
We rely on the generosity of our community
We are reliant on the generosity of our parent body, alumni, business and individual donors to generate funds for the promotion of social upliftment. These include the support for boys on scholarship and the funding of students to enrol for the duration of the high school career. We are open to engage with our community and welcome any form of support for our advancement programme.

Ububele – The spirit of Ubuntu
Ububele expresses the spirit of Ubuntu: generosity, community wellness and the spirit of togetherness. The primary goal of Ububele is to generate funds to promote social cohesion within our school community, specifically by providing financial support to Bennies boys. This support includes:
Funding for boys on scholarships
Helping students pay for their entire high school career
Ensuring boys in need can actively participate in all aspects of school life
Scholarship seat
Our scholarship programme ensures that an education at St Benedict’s will be accessible to outstanding and deserving young boys for generations. It’s also a very meaningful way to honour family and friends. We invite you to consider this worthwhile investment and establish a scholarship in your own name or choose to name it for a friend, family member or a favourite staff member.
St Benedict’s will draft the criteria according to your intentions of the scholarship and present it to you for your approval. The awarding and administration of the endowed scholarship will be at the discretion of the School.
In exchange for the donation, St Benedict’s undertakes:
