Meet Zelandia Thompson, a teacher in our Prep School at St Benedict’s. Zelandia studied a BEd in the Senior and FET Phase while teaching Grades 10 to 12. After completing her primary school practicals, she discovered a passion for working with younger learners and moved into teaching in the intermediate phase.
Her journey into education was inspired by an exceptional Grade 12 Geography teacher who sparked her interest in the profession and encouraged her to pursue teaching.
Outside of the classroom, Zelandia enjoys reading, travelling and spending time with family.
We are delighted to have Zelandia as part of the Bennies community and are grateful that she felt a sense of home from her very first day with us.
