At St Benedict’s we understand what makes boys tick and keep them active with learning, sports and the arts. We nurture their minds, shape their souls, build their bodies and hone their hearts.

Today we celebrate World Read Aloud Day 📚📖📔
With our teachers and librarians reading aloud to our boys, stories came to life and reminded us of the power of reading together. These shared moments help build a love for books, strengthen understanding, and create meaningful connections in and beyond the classroom.

February is dedicated to the Holy Family, Jesus, Mary and Joseph, who remind us that family is a place where faith is nurture and love is shared
Even though our families may look different, the Holy Family calls us to live with trust in God, service to others and love without condition. They show us that holiness is not found in perfection, but in choosing, each day, to pray together, forgive freely and put others first.
This month, we are encouraged to reflect on our own families and ask how we can strengthen our homes through daily acts of love.

Meet Nthabiseng Mpitso, our Library Assistant at St Benedict’s College. With a background in filmmaking and production, she brings a unique storytelling lens to the library, inspired by her grandmother’s bedtime stories and a love for preserving knowledge.
Nthabiseng holds a certification in School Library Management and Administration from the University of the Free State, along with further training through the American Library Association. She is passionate about helping boys discover their own creative voices through reading and writing. Outside of work, Nthabiseng enjoys reading, podcasts, and hiking. We are excited for the creativity, care, and passion she brings to our learning community.
We are proud to welcome Nthabiseng to the Bennies community and look forward to the positive contribution she will make to our boys’ schooling journey.
