Meet the Matrics | Ashaaz Bhailall 🎓
Ashaaz Bhailall joined Bennies in Grade 8 as a proud member of Mazenod House. His journey has been one of resilience, perseverance and personal growth. Reflecting on the past few years, he looks back with pride, knowing that every challenge has helped shape the person he is today. As he puts it, “We did it bro. It was hard, rough and everything in between, but we did it and we did it for ourselves.”
Looking ahead, Ashaaz carries a strong sense of faith and determination. He believes that everything happens for a reason and trusts that every obstacle is part of a greater purpose. His mindset is simple but powerful: keep moving forward, trust the journey and never stop believing in yourself.
We wish Ashaaz all the very best for the remainder of his matric journey and the exciting future that awaits him. Once a Bennies boy, always a Bennies boy.

Meet the Matrics | Owen Davis 🎓
Owen Davis has been part of the Bennies family since Grade 0 as a proud member of Allard House. Looking back on his journey, he reflects on just how quickly the years have passed, reminding others that “5 years goes by in the blink of an eye.” As he looks towards the future, his focus is simple yet meaningful: to keep moving forward and embrace every opportunity that comes his way.
One of Owen’s favourite Bennies memories was the unforgettable Orange River tour. From the adventure and camaraderie to the memories made with friends, it was an experience that perfectly captured the spirit of brotherhood and made his time at Bennies all the more memorable.
We wish Owen all the very best for the remainder of his matric journey and the exciting future that awaits him. Once a Bennies boy, always a Bennies boy.

Our Grade 7 boys enjoyed a memorable morning of connection and collaboration alongside the girls from @assumptionconvent and @holyrosaryjhb 🥁
The day began with an energetic drumming workshop led by @drumbusters , where rhythm, teamwork and plenty of laughter brought everyone together. The morning concluded with a picnic, giving the students the opportunity to get to know one another in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
A wonderful morning of music, friendship and shared experiences that created memories to last well beyond the day.
