Matric Spotlight: Andrea Slongo 🎓
From his very first day in Grade 0, Andrea Slongo has grown through the Mazenod House journey with a balance of fun, learning and determination. To his younger self, he would offer a gentle reminder to enjoy the early years, but to take academics seriously from Grade 10 onwards, knowing that effort in the classroom truly shapes the future.
Looking ahead, Andrea encourages his future self to keep working hard at what he wants, trusting that with patience and persistence, things will fall into place. His fondest memory speaks to a unique side of his school experience, the hunting trips with Mr Barnes’s niche group during the August holidays, moments that blended adventure, camaraderie and the outdoors.
Hardworking, adventurous and ready for the path ahead. Here is to you, Andrea.
