At St Benedict’s we understand what makes boys tick and keep them active with learning, sports and the arts. We nurture their minds, shape their souls, build their bodies and hone their hearts.

Meet Siyabonga Lusiba, our Head of Hockey at St Benedict’s College. Siyabonga attended Queen’s College Boys’ High School and furthered his studies at Boston College in Queenstown, laying the foundation for a career shaped by discipline, commitment and a deep love for sport.
His passion for hockey comes from the impact sport has had on his own life and the opportunities it has created for him. That same passion now drives his desire to guide and develop young sportsmen both on and off the field.
Outside of school, Siyabonga enjoys running, watching sport and spending time with loved ones. While he leads with strength and purpose, he describes himself as soft at heart and a very friendly person.
We are excited to welcome Siyabonga to the Bennies community and look forward to the energy, leadership and vision he brings to our hockey programme.

Our Cricket boys have continued to show resilience, discipline and real brotherhood in the way they train and compete. There is a quiet confidence building in this group, shaped by great efforts. 🙏🏏
As they prepare for the St Alban’s Cricket Festival this weekend, we know they will carry that same spirit onto the field. We are behind you all the way.
