Academics

The skills and attitudes your son will develop at our school are designed to advance his lifelong learning, adaptability, socio-emotional enrichment and success.

Religion

We hope that our curriculum will encourage boys to look deeper into their own faith and that all may discover the meaning of sound values in thought, word and deed.

Culture

Our cultural programme supports the development of talent and provides opportunities to explore a variety of creative and culturally enriching activities.

Sport

We believe that our boys receive a richer education through sport and place a healthy emphasis on participation, confidence-building and personal development.

Meet Siyabonga Lusiba, our Head of Hockey at St Benedict’s College. Siyabonga attended Queen’s College Boys’ High School and furthered his studies at Boston College in Queenstown, laying the foundation for a career shaped by discipline, commitment and a deep love for sport. His passion for hockey comes from the impact sport has had on his own life and the opportunities it has created for him. That same passion now drives his desire to guide and develop young sportsmen both on and off the field.Outside of school, Siyabonga enjoys running, watching sport and spending time with loved ones. While he leads with strength and purpose, he describes himself as soft at heart and a very friendly person. We are excited to welcome Siyabonga to the Bennies community and look forward to the energy, leadership and vision he brings to our hockey programme.#StaffSpotlight #MeetTheTeam #BenniesHockey #BenniesCommunity #SportAtBennies StBenedictsCollege
