Meet the Matrics | Tyler Morrison 🎓
Tyler Morrison has been part of the Bennies family since Grade 0 as a member of O’Leary House. Over the years, he has learnt the importance of staying true to himself, embracing each opportunity and making the most of the present rather than worrying about the opinions of others or what lies ahead.
One of Tyler’s proudest Bennies memories was receiving Full School Colours and Provincial Colours for Target Shooting. After helping to reintroduce the sport to the College alongside his shooting partner, the achievement was especially meaningful and reflected his commitment to growing opportunities for future Bennies boys.
We wish Tyler all the very best for the remainder of his matric journey and the exciting future that awaits him. Once a Bennies boy, always a Bennies boy.

As we celebrate the Feast of St Benedict today, we reflect on the legacy of our patron saint and the strong foundation upon which our College was built.
Here’s a look back at this year’s Founders’ Day celebrations as we honour our history, celebrate our community, and continue to live out our motto, Veritas in Caritate.
Happy Feast Day, Bennies! 💙❤️💚💛

Today, we celebrate the Feast of St Benedict, the patron saint of our College.
This day holds special significance for the Bennies community, marking the day on which the Oblates of Mary Immaculate received permission from the East Rand School Board to establish St Benedict’s College.
As we honour St Benedict’s legacy, we are reminded of the values that continue to guide our community: faith, wisdom, humility, service, and the pursuit of truth in love.
May we continue to live out these values each day as we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Happy Feast Day to our entire Bennies family!

Meet the Matrics | Dhyan Naran 🎓
Dhyan Naran joined Bennies in Grade 8 as a member of Mazenod House and has embraced every opportunity to grow both as a student and a leader. Throughout his journey, he has learnt that challenges often lead to unexpected growth, shaping him into someone who values curiosity, resilience and making the most of every moment.
One of Dhyan’s proudest memories was being inducted as a school leader, a milestone he never imagined he would achieve. Sharing that moment with his family and his best friend made the occasion even more meaningful, reminding him of the people who have supported him along the way and the impact Bennies has had on his life.
As Dhyan continues his final year at Bennies, we wish him every success for the months ahead and beyond. Once a Bennies boy, always a Bennies boy.
