Apply for Enrolment into St Benedict's

Thank you for considering St Benedict’s as the school for your son. You can either apply manually by downloading the necessary forms, or you can apply online. The procedures are explained below.

How to enrol at St Benedict's

ONLINE APPLICATION

In order to apply online you will need to register on our site and then login. You do not need to complete the application in one sitting, as information is saved as you move through each step of the application.  See instructions to apply online.

MANUAL APPLICATION

If you prefer to follow the manual process, click links below to download forms. Fax completed forms to 011-455-6519 or hand-deliver to St Benedict's.

Checklist of Documents

For both the online and the manual application, the following documents are required. For the online application these documents must be scanned in and available to attached to the application.

  • Birth certificate (if pupil is older than 6 months)
  • Unabridged birth certificate (for non South African citizens)
  • Baptismal certificate
  • Testimonial from parish priest or minister (optional)
  • Most recent school report (grade 4 and higher)
  • Identity photo of your son (grade 4 and higher)
  • Parent or guardian identity book or passport
  • Latest statement from current school
  • Official immunisation card (grades 0 to 3)
 

ONLINE APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

We only accept online admissions from grade R to grade 10.

  • You will need to register on our site in order to submit the application.
  • There are 9 steps you will need to complete. You can only move to the next step once you have entered all the information required on the current step.
  • You can log-out at any point in the process and return at a later stage to complete your application, however remember that only completed steps will be saved.
  • Until the point where you submit the application, you can go back and review and change the information entered. Once submitted however, you will not be able to change any information.
  • Please ensure in step 7 that you enter a valid email address for your current school principal. If the email address is invalid, the application will be considered incomplete.
  • A non-refundable R500 fee is due before the application is submitted. This fee is paid in step 9.
